RookaaClarity you can’t think your way to.

Three weeks.
Still not sent.

The pricing page you keep rewriting. The rate you keep meaning to raise.

Rookaa is an iPhone app for the decision you keep circling. It asks. You decide. The next day, it checks that you did it.

Meet Pip

Pip, a small black raven with an orange eyepatch, perched above the fog.
Pip up close, looking straight at you.

Meet Pip

You hold the wheel. Pip keeps watch.

Pip is a small pirate raven with one orange eyepatch, the first mate in every Rookaa conversation. He keeps watch from Ravens Point, the high nest where the view is clearer, and reads the fog with you.

He asks where you want to go. He never grabs the wheel. When you have decided, he says so, and lets you get back to your day.

A hard moment feels lighter with him around. It is still your call.

You’re at the wheel, stuck in fog.

Pip, a small pirate raven, lands on the rail and asks where you want to go.

He remembers where you got stuck last time. He won’t hand you the answer. Just the question that breaks the loop.

When you know, he says so. Then you get on with your day.

How it works

From circling to a step you named.

One session, tonight

From circling to a step you named.

  1. Rookaa on iPhone. The first message: a pricing page, rewritten for three weeks and still not sent.

    01 · Say it

Say it the way it is.

No forms, no goals to set, no mood to rate. You write what is actually going on, and messy is fine. Rookaa starts where you are stuck, not where you think you should be.

Why it works this wayPutting something off is mostly a way to escape the bad feeling it brings, not laziness. So the session starts with the feeling, not the to-do list. Sirois and Pychyl, 2013

  2. Rookaa’s Talk screen. Pip reflects the message in one line and asks what moment the person imagines right after they hit send.

    02 · One question

It reflects, then asks one question.

Pip gives back what he heard in a single line, then asks the question underneath it: what do you imagine happening right after you hit send?

No advice, no list of tips. Holding advice back is built into how every reply is made.

Why it works this wayPutting a feeling into words calms the brain’s alarm response. Rookaa names what is in the way before it ever asks for a step. Lieberman et al., 2007

  3. Rookaa’s step card. What was under it: Maya reads the price and goes quiet. The step, in the person’s words: tomorrow morning I send the pricing page to Maya as is.

    03 · Your step

You name the step. Rookaa keeps your words.

Under the pricing page was a fear: Maya reads the price and goes quiet. Once that is said out loud, the step gets simple, and it is yours.

Rookaa keeps your sentence exactly as you wrote it. Every quote is checked in code against what you typed. Then the session ends. No endless “anything else?”.

Why it works this wayDeciding exactly what you will do, and when, is one of the strongest findings in goal research. A review of 94 studies found a medium-to-large effect on reaching goals. Gollwitzer and Sheeran, 2006

The next day

One quiet question. Did you do it?

This is the part most apps skip. Rookaa comes back once, about the step you named, and asks. Yes, Not yet, or Not now. No streaks, no guilt, no “we miss you”.

Rookaa’s next-day check-in for the step: send the pricing page to Maya. Not yet is selected. Pip asks: Okay. What got in the way?

Not yet is an answer too.

If it did not happen, Pip asks what got in the way, and you pick it up from there. The check-in only ever asks about a step you chose.

Why it works this wayChoices that feel like your own last longer than choices made for you. Deci and Ryan, 2000

Rookaa after the page was sent. The person writes: took me two more days, I sent it, Maya wrote back in ten minutes. Pip, eyes closed: Two more days. And then you sent it.

Then it happens out there.

Two more days, and the page went to Maya. She wrote back in ten minutes. The win lives in your life, not in the app.

Why it works this wayEach step you take is a small proof that you can act. Psychologists call these mastery experiences, the strongest source of self-belief. Bandura, 1977

Over weeks

The view gets clearer from here.

  1. Rookaa’s Plan tab. Three bands, Direction, Track and Review, filled from the person’s own words.

    Plan

A plan when you are ready. Not before.

When a decision lands, Rookaa can build the plan with you: the direction, how you will keep track, and how you will look back. It fills in what you have already said, asks only for the missing pieces, and never invents a step.

Sample board. The Plan tab comes to the app before launch. In the chat version it is live today as the Action Board.

  2. Rookaa’s Patterns screen. A tree made of small dots, with three phrases the person keeps coming back to.

    Patterns

It remembers what you keep circling.

Patterns grows a map from the phrases you keep coming back to. Your words, not a summary an AI wrote about you. Open your memory any time to correct it or reset it.

Why it works this waySetting your own direction, watching your own patterns and following through are the core habits of self-leadership. Patterns is built to make yours visible. Neck and Houghton, 2006

Watch your patterns over time.

Most tools give you answers. Rookaa gives you back your own thinking.

Chat assistants
Answer, and forget you when the chat ends.
AI journals
Coach you, and set the goals for you.
Task apps
Track the step. Never help you take it.
Rookaa
Asks until you decide, keeps your words, and checks the next day that you acted.

More and more people ask an AI what to do. Rookaa uses AI the other way round: it asks, and your own judgment gets the practice.

From the chat version

See what people are saying about Ravens Point.

Rookaa grew out of Ravens Point, the same dialogue running in Telegram, WhatsApp and Discord since March 2026. Founders, designers, coaches and creators used it and felt it.

“Completely helped me sort through a mental block I was having and gave me clarity on something I wasn’t expecting.”

Jo, startup founder, Dublin

“It’s sticky. The questions made me think, I started seeing my situation differently, and I kept coming back.”

Lena. Independent creator, sells on Instagram, Lisbon

“A great sounding board. It didn’t jump in with advice. It just kept asking the right thing.”

Justin. Freelance designer, San Francisco
